Kyiv has declared May 15 a day of mourning to commemorate those who lost their lives during a significant Russian military assault on the capital. The announcement came after a devastating strike on a residential building.

The attack، described by Kyiv's mayor as the most extensive assault on the capital، resulted in the complete destruction of one entrance of a nine-story apartment building. Rescue and assessment operations are ongoing at the site of the devastation.

Casualties and Ongoing Search

As of the latest reports، at least seven people have been confirmed dead and 39 others have sustained injuries. The fate of approximately 20 individuals who were inside the building at the time of the strike remains unknown، with search efforts continuing.
