Amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East، numerous nations are actively working to evacuate their citizens from the region. While airlines are arranging special flights، the costs and conditions for returning home differ significantly across countries.

Germany's Evacuation Efforts
According to reports from the German publication Bild، Germany is facilitating the evacuation of tourists from the Middle East via charter flights. The cost for this service is set at 500 euros per person، which aligns with standard economy class fares. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs estimates that approximately 30،000 German citizens are in the region، with priority during evacuations given to the elderly، sick، pregnant women، and children.
Finland's Repatriation Flight
Finland Abroad has announced a repatriation flight from Muscat، Oman، to Helsinki scheduled for March 8th. Citizens wishing to depart from the Persian Gulf region can purchase tickets at their own expense. The estimated cost for a single ticket is around 1230 euros. This total includes 1150 euros for the flight، 40 euros for bus transportation، and a mandatory fee of 40 euros per adult passenger. Children under two years of age can travel free of charge.
Media reports suggest that around 3،000 Finnish citizens are eager to return home.
Estonia's Organized Return
The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized a flight with 180 seats from Muscat to Tallinn. This flight is available to Estonian citizens currently in Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The cost for passengers is 400 euros، which covers the flight and transfer. The Estonian state will cover the remaining expenses. The Ministry is reportedly preparing further flights for its citizens.
Netherlands' Repatriation Resumption
According to media outlets، the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the resumption of repatriation flights from Middle Eastern countries starting Friday. These include flights operated by KLM from Muscat، Oman، and by TUI from Sharm El Sheikh، Egypt. Passengers will be required to pay 600 euros per person.
United Kingdom's Ongoing Negotiations
The Independent reports that approximately 130،000 British citizens are registered in the Middle East. The UK Foreign Office is in negotiations with airlines to arrange the return of its citizens. However، the publication has not specified whether citizens will bear the cost of these flights.
It is noted that around 4،000 citizens have been evacuated from Middle Eastern countries. Media reports indicate that charter flights will be available for those affected.
Authorities are advising citizens not to proceed to the airport without prior coordination with state services.
Recently، over two thousand people have returned to Kazakhstan via evacuation flights.
