Residents of Aktau now have a new direct transportation link to Russia، with the launch of a bus service connecting the Kazakh city to Astrakhan. This new route promises to make cross-border travel more accessible for passengers.

First Departures and Route Details

The inaugural bus is scheduled to depart from Aktau on March 20th at 10:00 AM. The journey will commence from the "Eternal Flame" monument in the 7th microdistrict of Aktau. The entire trip to Astrakhan is expected to take approximately 18 hours.

The service will be operated by "Taxi Star" using a Higer bus designed to accommodate 45 passengers، ensuring a comfortable journey.

Return Trips and Future Schedule

The return journey from Astrakhan to Aktau is planned for March 22nd، departing at 10:00 AM local time. Passengers in Astrakhan will board near house number 120 on Pervaya Perevozhnaya Street، located behind the railway station.

Starting in April، the route will operate on a regular weekly schedule. Buses will depart from Aktau every Friday and from Astrakhan every Sunday.

Fares and Booking Information

The one-way ticket price for adults is set at 30،000 tenge. For children under 12 years old، the fare is reduced to 22،000 tenge.

Passengers carrying luggage exceeding the standard allowance will be charged an additional 350 tenge per kilogram.
