A passenger traveling from Astana to Shymkent on a FlyArystan flight has reported the disappearance of a bag containing valuable personal items، including gold jewelry and important documents. The incident has led to a police investigation into a potential theft.

The passenger stated that upon boarding the flight on May 7th، there was insufficient space in the overhead compartments for their hand luggage. A flight attendant reportedly placed the bag behind the passenger's seat، near seat 5B، as their assigned seat was 4C.

After landing in Shymkent، the passenger noticed that the plastic packaging where their bag had been placed was torn. Upon arriving home، they discovered that a small pink bag، containing their documents and gold jewelry، was missing.

Passenger's Request for Investigation

The aggrieved passenger has formally requested a thorough investigation into the incident. Their demands include identifying the passengers who occupied seats 5A and 5C، and reviewing surveillance footage from the aircraft، the airport، and the boarding and disembarking areas.

While FlyArystan's press service did not immediately provide a response، the Department of Transport Police confirmed that a criminal case has been initiated based on the passenger's report.
