According to the Almaty Police Department، the driver of a Zeekr vehicle was traveling westbound on Al-Farabi Avenue. At the intersection with Mendykulov Street، the driver veered into the oncoming eastbound lane. This resulted in a catastrophic head-on collision with a Mercedes-Benz.

Fatalities and Investigation Underway

Tragically، the driver of the Mercedes-Benz and two of its passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Zeekr vehicle sustained various injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
