In a significant development in Atyrau region، criminal proceedings against Aقbayan Muqangalieva have been terminated. She was previously suspected in a case involving the deaths of her in-laws.

The decision to halt the prosecution comes after an investigation failed to establish any involvement on Muqangalieva's part in the alleged murders. According to Zhandar Bolatbek، an assistant to the Prosecutor of Atyrau Region، the investigation concluded that there was no evidence linking Aقbayan Muqangalieva to the homicides.

No Criminal Liability Found

Consequently، the criminal prosecution against her has been officially stopped. While a separate case was registered concerning the failure to report a crime، it has not yet received a legal assessment. Importantly، Aقbayan Muqangalieva was not recognized as a suspect in this related matter، and no restrictive measures were imposed on her.

Ongoing Assessment of Mental State

Previously، it was reported that Muqangalieva was undergoing a psychiatric examination in Almaty. The Atyrau Regional Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the results of this examination are still pending. A legal assessment of her actions will be made only after her mental state has been fully determined.

This development brings a close to the criminal pursuit against Aقbayan Muqangalieva، pending the finalization of the psychiatric evaluation.
