Kazakhstan's celebrated cultural figures, singer Dimash Kudaibergen and actress Samal Yeslyamova, have been recognized with prestigious awards from the international organization TURKSOY. This recognition highlights their significant contributions to the development and promotion of Turkic culture on a global stage.

'Cultural Ambassador of the Turkic World' Awarded to Dimash Kudaibergen

During a special ceremony held in Astana, Dimash Kudaibergen was presented with the 'Cultural Ambassador of the Turkic World' special order. This is considered the highest accolade bestowed by TURKSOY, acknowledging Kudaibergen's substantial role in fostering and disseminating Turkic cultural heritage through his music.

Samal Yeslyamova Recognized as 'Best Actress of the Turkic World'

Acclaimed actress Samal Yeslyamova, a Honored Figure of Kazakhstan, also received a special award from TURKSOY. She was honored in the 'Best Actress of the Turkic World' category for her impactful contributions to the advancement of both Turkic and world cinema.

Official Recognition and Cultural Diplomacy

The awards were presented by Aibek Sydykov, Vice-Minister of Culture and Information, on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva. Sydykov emphasized the importance of these achievements in strengthening cultural ties within the Turkic world and elevating the international profile of Kazakhstani arts.

Sultan Raev, Secretary General of TURKSOY, specifically acknowledged the role of Kazakhstani cultural figures in developing a shared cultural space among Turkic nations. He noted that while Kudaibergen serves as a cultural ambassador through music, Yeslyamova has become a prominent figure in Kazakhstani cinema.

Upon receiving his award, Dimash Kudaibergen remarked that the greatest recognition for an artist comes from the support of their audience. He stated, "I consider this award not just for myself, but as an honor shown to the entire Kazakh people."

This distinction underscores the growing influence and recognition of Kazakhstani artists in the international cultural arena.
