Iran Strikes Israeli Arms Factories and US Airbases in Retaliation

Iran has announced a significant military operation, with its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claiming responsibility for strikes against Israeli arms manufacturing facilities and U.S. airbases across the Middle East. These actions are being framed by Iran as a direct response to recent attacks attributed to the United States and Israel.

Targeting Israeli Defense Industry

According to an IRGC statement, key Israeli defense companies were targeted. This included facilities belonging to Rafael, a company known for developing air defense systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a major player in the aerospace sector.

Strikes on U.S. Military Installations

The IRGC also reported destroying multiple hangars used for American fighter jets at the 'Sheikh Isa' airbase in Bahrain and 'Al-Dhafra' airbase in the United Arab Emirates. Further claims indicate attacks on a U.S. base in Qatar and Israeli anti-missile defense infrastructure.

Operation "True Promise 4"

Iran has designated this operation as the 57th phase of "Operation True Promise 4." The attacks reportedly involved a range of weaponry, including the "Zulfiqar," "Qayam," "KheibarShekan," "Emad," and "Gadr" missiles, as well as attack drones. The IRGC has stated its intention to continue these operations until U.S. forces are fully evacuated or neutralized.
