A new era for Kazakhstan's film industry is dawning with the commencement of construction for a modern, international-standard film pavilion in the city of Kaskelen. This ambitious project is poised to make a significant contribution to both the nation's economy and its cultural landscape.

A World-Class Production Hub

The initiative is notable for being entirely funded by private investment. The initial phase will see the construction of pavilions covering two thousand square meters, designed to meet the standards of major global film studios.

Jackie Chan Kicks Off Productions

The first major production slated for this new facility is the highly anticipated film 'Armor of God 4: Ultimatum,' starring the renowned action star Jackie Chan. Adding a unique touch to the project, a time capsule personally signed by Chan was specially transported from Hong Kong for the occasion. Lee Chiu Wa, the executive producer of the franchise, was also present for the ceremony.

Boosting Kazakhstan's Cinematic Influence

Marat Sultangaziyev, the Akim (Governor) of the Almaty region, highlighted the project's importance, emphasizing its potential to invigorate the country's cultural and economic development. The project's initiators aim to solidify Kazakhstan's position as a leading film industry hub in Central Asia and attract international filmmakers to the region.
