Kaspi Bank Announces Major Fee Hikes: What Customers Need to Know
Kazakhstan's most popular bank, Kaspi Bank, is set to implement substantial increases in its service fees, a move that will affect many of its customers. These changes are scheduled to take effect at the end of March 2026, prompting questions about the impact on daily banking costs for individuals across the country.
Kaspi Gold Annual Service Fee Rises Sharply
The annual service fee for the widely used Kaspi Gold card is experiencing a significant jump. Starting from the second year of use, customers will be charged 10,000 tenge annually. This marks a substantial increase from the previous fee of just 1,995 tenge, representing a near five-fold rise in cost.
This fee adjustment is not limited to adult accounts; it will also apply to children's cards, which were previously free to maintain. The annual service fee for these cards will also increase to 10,000 tenge.
Other Service Changes and Increased Commissions
Beyond the annual card fees, Kaspi Bank is also introducing new charges for other services. The cost to reissue a card at the customer's request will now be 10,000 tenge. Additionally, the commission for withdrawing cash from an account will increase, potentially reaching up to 5%.
These comprehensive changes are set to be implemented starting March 31, 2026. Customers are advised to review their banking habits and prepare for these upcoming adjustments to their service costs.
