Kaspi Gold Card Fees Remain Unchanged Amidst Online Rumors

Recent online discussions have been fueled by rumors suggesting significant changes to Kaspi Gold card operational rules and increased fees. These claims, widely shared on social media, sparked considerable debate among users.

The misinformation specifically pointed to a supposed increase in the annual card maintenance fee from 1995 tenge to 10,000 tenge, effective March 31. Further claims included a 10,000 tenge fee for reissuing a lost or damaged card, as well as for annual child card maintenance. Some reports also alleged a 5% commission for transfers to other banks and exceeding withdrawal limits.

Kaspi.kz Clarifies Tariffs

Kaspi.kz has officially responded to these rumors, stating that the tariffs and service conditions for both customers and partners will remain unchanged. The bank clarified that the widespread false information pertains to annual card maintenance, reissuance costs, Kaspi Pay terms, and interbank transfer commissions.

According to Kaspi.kz, the confusion arose from a misunderstanding of an updated legal document detailing statutory limits, which was misinterpreted as a direct tariff increase.

The financial institution emphasized its commitment to transparency, assuring clients that any future changes to terms or fees would be communicated well in advance.
