A somber mood has fallen over the Kyzylkoga district in Kazakhstan's Atyrau region following the tragic death of its deputy governor, Yerbolat Igali. The accident occurred early this morning on the highway as Mr. Igali was traveling to work.

Preliminary reports indicate that the official vehicle carrying Mr. Igali overturned on the road. Tragically, Yerbolat Igali succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, however, survived the incident.

A Dedicated Public Servant

According to the Atyrau regional administration, the late official was 45 years old and is survived by his five children. Mr. Igali had a notable career in public service, beginning his professional journey as a journalist for a local newspaper. He had been serving as the deputy governor of the Kyzylkoga district since January 2023.

This unfortunate event serves as a stark reminder of the dangers present on roadways, even for those on official duties.
