Renowned Kazakh singer Jazira Bairbekova has addressed concerns from fans and the public regarding her current situation, explaining why she and her companions are unable to return home from Oman as planned.

Bairbekova, currently in Muscat, the capital of Oman, shared a brief video update that has circulated widely across social media and news outlets. She expressed gratitude to those who have reached out with concern.

Special Flight Restrictions

According to information from embassy representatives, special repatriation flights prioritize vulnerable passengers. This includes pregnant women, individuals with disabilities, children under five years old, and the elderly. Bairbekova explained that her group of six does not fall into these priority categories.

"The law is like that," Bairbekova stated. "We are six people and do not fit this category. Therefore, we are currently waiting for opportunities to fly through other countries."

Concerts Postponed

As a result of the travel complications, the singer announced that her planned concerts in Kazakhstan have been postponed. She apologized to ticket holders and assured them that the events would be rescheduled once the situation stabilizes.
