Astana and Surrounding Areas

In Astana, residents can expect rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The wind is forecast to shift from the southwest to the northwest, reaching speeds of up to 15-20 m/s during the day.

Northern Regions

Akmola region will experience rain and thunderstorms in its western, northern, and central areas, with similar conditions expected in the southern parts during the day. Winds will shift from southwest to northwest, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s in the western, northern, and eastern areas. Kokshetau will see winds from the southwest shifting to northwest, reaching 15-20 m/s.

Western Kazakhstan

Aktobe region is set for rain overnight, with potentially heavy downpours in the center. The west, east, and central areas will see rain during the day, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in the western and central parts. Winds will blow from the northeast, reaching 15-18 m/s in the southern areas during the day.

Atyrau region anticipates rain and thunderstorms in its northern and eastern parts overnight, and in the western, northern, and southern areas during the day. The northwest may experience heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls. Fog is possible overnight and in the morning in the north and east. Winds from the north and northeast will reach 15-20 m/s in the northern, western, and eastern areas during the day. Atyrau city itself expects rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

West Kazakhstan region will see rain and thunderstorms in its western and southern areas during the day, with winds from the northeast reaching 15-20 m/s in the southern parts.

Kostanay region faces a night of rain and thunderstorms, with potential for heavy rain and hail in the western, northern, and eastern parts. Daytime forecasts include rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls in the north and east. Fog may form overnight and in the morning in the north and east. Winds will shift from southwest to northwest, with speeds of 15-20 m/s in the western, northern, and eastern areas. Kostanay city will experience rain and thunderstorms overnight and in the morning.

North Kazakhstan region will have rain and thunderstorms overnight, with rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls expected in the western, northern, and eastern areas during the day. Fog is possible in the southern area overnight and in the morning. Winds from the southwest will reach 15-20 m/s in the southern and eastern parts overnight, and 15-20, sometimes up to 25 m/s, in the northern, southern, and eastern parts during the day. Petropavlovsk will see rain and thunderstorms, with hail and squalls during the day, and winds from the southwest reaching 15-20 m/s.

Southern and Eastern Regions

East Kazakhstan region will experience winds from the west and northwest, reaching 15-20 m/s in the western and southern areas overnight and in the morning. Overnight temperatures in the east could drop to 2 degrees Celsius. A high fire risk is noted in the western and northwestern areas.

Turkistan region anticipates short-term rain and thunderstorms in the mountainous areas. Winds from the southeast will reach up to 15-20 m/s in the mountainous regions. A high fire risk persists in the northern area.

Almaty region will have rain and thunderstorms overnight and in the morning in its southern, eastern, and mountainous regions. A high fire risk remains in the northern areas.

Zhambyl region expects rain and thunderstorms in the mountainous areas, with potential fog overnight and in the morning. Winds from the northeast will reach 15-20 m/s in the northeastern and mountainous areas. A high fire risk is present in the central and northern areas, and in the western parts.

Kyzylorda region has a high fire risk in its eastern, southern, and central areas.

Mangystau region will see rain and thunderstorms in its western, northern, and central areas. Fog may form in the western and central regions. Winds will shift from northwest to southwest, reaching 15-20 m/s in the western, northern, and central areas during the day. Aktau will experience fog overnight and in the morning.

Abay region will have winds shifting from northeast to southeast, reaching up to 15-20 m/s in the southwestern, eastern, and central areas overnight and in the morning. Overnight ground frost up to 1 degree Celsius is possible in the western and central areas. A high fire risk is present in the northwestern, eastern, southern, and central areas.

Zhetysu region may experience thunderstorms in its southern and mountainous areas. Winds from the northeast will reach 15-20 m/s in the northern and eastern parts. A high fire risk is noted in the western and northern areas, very high in the southeastern and southern parts, and high in the central part.

Ulytau region has a high fire risk in its eastern and central areas, and in the southern part. Zhezkazgan also faces a high fire risk.

Pavlodar region expects rain and thunderstorms in the northern areas during the day. Winds from the southwest will reach 15-20 m/s in the northern areas during the day. A high fire risk is present in the northern, western, and eastern areas.

Central Regions

Karaganda region maintains a high fire risk in its western, northern, and southern areas.
