Semey Residents Complain About Late-Night Noise Near Police Station

Residents of Semey have lodged a complaint with the police regarding a group of young people who caused a disturbance late at night near a police station. The incident highlights ongoing efforts to maintain public order.

Late-Night Disturbance Reported

The incident occurred on the night of April 5th, around 2:00 AM, near the "Okean" bus stop. A group of youths were reportedly shouting loudly, dancing, and playing music at high volume from a vehicle, disrupting the peace in the area.

Police Identify and Address Violators

The Department of Police of the Abai region responded to the complaint, confirming that the individuals responsible for the disturbance have been identified. The main offender was found to be a 21-year-old driver of a Toyota vehicle.

Authorities cited Article 437 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which pertains to disturbing the peace. This violation carries a fine equivalent to 5 monthly calculated indices (AEK).

The police department assured the complainants that measures are being taken to ensure public order. Currently, intensified preventive measures are underway across the region to address nighttime disturbances and enhance the safety and security of citizens.
