Central to Kim's remaining business interests is the company 'KSS Finance'. This entity plays a pivotal role as it manages Bank RBK, a significant player in Kazakhstan's financial sector. This demonstrates Kim's continued strategic focus on the banking and financial services industry.

International Ventures and Real Estate

In partnership with Oleg Novachuk, Vladimir Kim also co-manages Trianon Limited, a private holding company. This firm was notably involved in the sale of the Baimsky gold-copper project in Russia, a transaction that received approval from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Furthermore, Kim's 'Nauryz' corporation operates in the real estate and equipment leasing sector. This corporation oversees subsidiaries such as 'Eurasia Stroy LLP' and 'Almaly' Corporation. 'Almaly' has historical ties to former President Nursultan Nazarbayev and its network includes kindergartens, the 'Interfax-Kazakhstan' news agency, and various recreational and advertising businesses.

Other Notable Assets

Another of Kim's holdings is the specialized financial company DSFK. Although detailed information on its operations is scarce, Adata reports indicate it has outstanding debts exceeding 1.5 billion tenge related to enforcement proceedings. Additionally, Holding DSFK, managed through its settlement center, oversees five companies, including Aksu Travel, 'Fehu Trading Company', and Astronet, which is involved in film distribution.

The Qaz Copper Group, under Kazakhmys Holding Limited, remains a significant asset. This group manages the 'Kazakhmys' insurance company and holds substantial stakes in various projects, including the Zhezkazgan power grid company, a joint venture with BelAZ, business center management, and significant stakes in copper mining projects like Aidarly and the 'Ozernoe Project' in partnership with 'KazGeology'.

As of May 2025, Vladimir Kim ranked third among Kazakhstan's wealthiest individuals with an estimated net worth of $5.7 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
