Kazakhstan Military to Train Under International Judo Standards
Kazakhstan's military personnel will soon be training according to international judo standards، marking a significant step in the development of martial arts within the nation's armed forces. This initiative follows a key agreement aimed at enhancing physical preparedness and combat skills.
Memorandum Signed for Judo Development
A pivotal memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan and the International Judo Federation. The agreement was formalized during a meeting in Astana between the Minister of Defense، Lieutenant General of Aviation Dauren Kosanov، and the President of the International Judo Federation، Marius Vizer.
Integration into Military Education
This collaboration is designed to systematically introduce the international judo system into the curricula of military educational institutions and colleges across Kazakhstan. The initiative will also see judo elements incorporated into the physical training sessions for all military personnel.
Enhanced Resources and Facilities
Significant attention will be paid to strengthening the material and technical base for judo training. With the support of the International Judo Federation and the "Zhenis" club، military educational organizations will be equipped with tatami mats، sports equipment، and kimonos، ensuring a high standard of training facilities.
Fostering Competition and Popularity
Furthermore، plans are underway to establish judo leagues for cadets and midshipmen. These leagues are expected to boost technical skills، foster a competitive spirit، and promote judo among younger military ranks. Both parties expressed confidence that this mutual cooperation will unlock new opportunities for judo's growth and inspire athletes to reach new heights.
This initiative underscores Kazakhstan's commitment to advancing the physical and combat readiness of its armed forces through internationally recognized sports disciplines.
