The video، recorded by a witness، highlighted several traffic violations in the vicinity of the police department، most notably improper parking. A Mitsubishi vehicle with tinted front and side windows was visible، though the tinting was later removed. Several drivers were also seen parking their cars in defiance of a "No Stopping" sign.

The video's author approached the police major، pointing out that his vehicle was parked too close to a turning lane، despite the clear prohibition. The witness measured the 30-meter distance from the turn، as stipulated by traffic regulations، and recorded the license plates of vehicles parked within this restricted zone، including the major's car.

Regulatory Context and Official Response

According to Article 12.4 of the Traffic Rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan، drivers are prohibited from stopping or parking within 30 meters of a turning lane.

The footage showed the major filling out a protocol on his tablet. In response to the incident، the Almaty Regional Police Department confirmed that measures have been taken regarding all identified violations.

Accountability and Penalties

A spokesperson for the department stated، "Drivers who violated traffic rules were held accountable in the manner prescribed by law." All drivers involved in the video، including the major، were reportedly fined and subjected to preventative discussions.
