Kazakhstanis will continue to benefit from the popular "Salyq Cashback" program, which has been extended until 2026. This initiative allows citizens to receive monetary rewards by submitting their retail purchase receipts.

Boosting Tax Compliance

Launched in 2024, the "Salyq Cashback" project aims to enhance tax oversight across the country. The government incentivizes citizens to demand fiscal receipts from vendors, offering them a cashback reward as an encouragement. This measure is particularly relevant for sectors where small and medium-sized businesses might avoid using cash registers.

How to Participate

For consumers, participating in the program is straightforward. The project is implemented by "IT Analytics" LLC, which ensures the technical integration of data with the State Revenue Committee's servers.

Program Reach and Impact

By 2025, the project had expanded to cover 48 districts across 12 regions of Kazakhstan. As of January 26, 2026, the city of Aktobe also joined the system. The results have been significant: the number of scanned receipts increased by 26%, with their total value rising by 32%. In the past year alone, 573,937 receipts totaling 7.6 billion tenge were processed, returning over 152 million tenge to consumers as cashback.

The State Revenue Committee reminds citizens that by requesting a receipt, they not only save money but also contribute to the transparency of the nation's economy.
