Fire Engulfs Apartment in Astana High-Rise, Video Surfaces
A fire erupted in an apartment within a residential high-rise building in Astana, the capital city. Footage captured at the scene, showing thick black smoke billowing from a window, has been widely shared on social media platforms.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the incident occurred on Aynakol Street in the Almaty district. Firefighters were dispatched promptly and managed to extinguish the blaze, which had engulfed one room and a balcony of the apartment. The fire was contained to an area of approximately 15 square meters, preventing it from spreading to adjacent apartments.
Investigation Underway
As of now, there have been no reports of any casualties or injuries resulting from the fire. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
