A dramatic fire has broken out in a five-story residential building located in the Saraishyk district of Astana. Firefighters have been dispatched to the scene and are working under a high-level alert status to contain the blaze.

The fire, which occurred in a building on Bolekpaev Street, was characterized by heavy smoke upon the arrival of the first responders. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), specialized gas and smoke protection units have been mobilized to tackle the situation.

As of the latest reports, there is no information available regarding any fatalities or injuries resulting from the fire. Emergency crews are continuing their efforts to bring the situation under control.

This incident follows a previous tragedy in Astana where a fire in a residential building resulted in the deaths of three children, with their mother requiring intensive care.
