A grim discovery has sent shockwaves through Aktobe after a bag containing human remains was found near a set of public trash bins. The unsettling find was reported by local residents and sanitation workers who had grown suspicious of the foul odor emanating from the bag over several days.

Suspicious Bag Raises Alarm

The large Chinese-made bag had been left among the trash bins for an extended period, its presence becoming increasingly noticeable due to a strong, unpleasant smell. Bolat Zhumagaliyev, a local street cleaner working in the area near School No. 38, recounted how the stench grew unbearable.

"It lay here until yesterday. It smelled awful, like a decomposing body," Zhumagaliyev stated. "My wife and I work here as street cleaners. I even thought about looking inside the bag, but the smell was too much. I thought it was just rotten meat." The situation escalated when police arrived yesterday, cordoning off the area and preventing anyone from approaching. It was then revealed that the bag contained the body of a man.

Police Launch Investigation

The Aktobe Regional Police Department has confirmed the incident. According to official statements, the remains of a 55-year-old man were discovered at the waste disposal site.

"Police have initiated a criminal investigation into the discovery of the body. Necessary investigative and operational search activities are underway to determine the circumstances of the incident. Further information will not be disclosed at this time in the interest of the investigation," the regional police department reported. Authorities are urging Aktobe residents to refrain from spreading false information regarding the case.
