Iran Issues Military Threats to Central Asian Nations Over Media

Iran has issued a stark warning to entities and nations continuing their cooperation with the independent satellite television channel "Iran International." The Islamic Republic has stated that if this collaboration persists, the channel's associated facilities and infrastructure could become targets for Iranian military forces.

The "Iran International" Channel

The "Iran International" channel broadcasts from the United Kingdom and utilizes the "TürkmenÄlem 52E/MonacoSat" satellite, which is owned by Turkmenistan. This satellite is also used by dozens of other television and radio channels.

Official Statements and Accusations

According to reports from Iranian state media, an unnamed representative from the "Khatam al-Anbiya" headquarters of Iran's armed forces described "Iran International" as a "Zionist media outlet." The representative alleged that the channel aims to incite sedition, spread disinformation, and engage in psychological warfare against the Iranian people. The official further cautioned that those who continue to support this channel would be placed on the Islamic Republic of Iran's target list.

Warning Issued to Romania

In a separate but related development, Tehran also issued a warning to Romania. Iran indicated that if Bucharest permits Washington to utilize its territory for operations against Iran, Romania would be considered a participant in the conflict. This warning follows a recent decision by the Romanian parliament to approve the deployment of additional American military units and aviation on its territory.
