Renowned Kazakh actor and model Askar Zhumabek has once again found himself at the center of controversy. A colleague, identified only as Ainur, has publicly accused the actor of attempting to physically assault her during a film shoot.

Allegations Surface on Social Media

The incident reportedly occurred when Ainur was asked to wake Zhumabek for a scheduled filming session. According to her account shared on the social media platform Threads, Zhumabek reacted with anger and intimidation upon being roused.

"I am still trembling, scared... If a colleague-videographer hadn't been nearby, he intended to hit me," Ainur wrote, detailing her distress following the alleged confrontation.

Past Legal Issues

This is not the first time Askar Zhumabek has faced accusations related to violence. In 2023, the actor was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for his involvement in a brawl at a karaoke bar. However, a year later, a court commuted his unserved sentence to a fine, leading to his early release.
