Kazakh Courier Fatally Shot in Istanbul; Suspects Apprehended
A tragic incident unfolded in Istanbul, Turkey, where a Kazakhstani citizen working as a courier was fatally shot. The victim, identified as Arif Ismailov, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
Details of the Incident
The shooting occurred yesterday around 4:30 PM local time. Ismailov, who was employed by a private logistics company, was attacked by an unknown assailant. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he later passed away.
Suspects Detained
Istanbul police launched an immediate investigation and, with the aid of drones, successfully located and apprehended two suspects. The individuals were identified as citizens of Georgia and were reportedly attempting to flee the country when they were captured.
Ongoing Investigation
The motive behind the fatal shooting has not yet been disclosed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has been contacted for comment on the situation.
