Serbia President Praises Kazakh Special Forces, Seeks Training Assistance
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has lauded the high caliber of Kazakhstan's special forces, requesting President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's assistance in training Serbian soldiers.
Admiration for Special Forces Prowess
During a meeting at the Akorda, the Serbian leader shared his keen interest in the international UAE SWAT Challenge-2026, which featured both Kazakh and Serbian teams. Impressed by the performance, Vučić specifically asked for Kazakhstan's help in training special forces personnel.
"Kazakhstan is, of course, the best in the world. I want people in Serbia to know this. Our Serbian guys performed well in several competitions. But the Kazakh guys and girls never made a mistake; I have never seen anything like it in my life. Your special forces demonstrated the highest level, and I want them to train our soldiers. I congratulate you again on your outstanding achievements in ensuring security," stated Aleksandar Vučić.
Success at the UAE SWAT Challenge-2026
This commendation follows earlier reports of President Tokayev congratulating the Kazakh participants for their remarkable results at the UAE SWAT Challenge-2026, an international counter-terrorism unit competition held in Dubai. The Kazakhstan C team secured the grand prize at the prestigious tournament, while the Kazakhstan A team claimed second place overall.
Furthermore, Kazakhstan's all-female special forces team, "Tomiris," was recognized as the best in the tournament.
