Authorities in Shalkar have made two more arrests in connection with the tragic death of a 17-year-old boy, an incident that has deeply disturbed the community.

Tragic Incident and Initial Arrests

The victim, 17-year-old Alikhan Zhanibek, lost his life on the night of March 20th during a group fight among minors. According to his relatives, the altercation stemmed from a territorial dispute between different groups.

Alikhan sustained a fatal stab wound to the chest at the scene of the incident. Following the tragedy, law enforcement initiated a criminal investigation and identified all individuals involved in the fight. These individuals were brought to the police station for questioning.

Father's Appeal and Escalating Investigation

Initially, an 18-year-old resident of Shalkar was arrested on suspicion of murder. However, on March 21st, the deceased's father, Zhanibek Alimanov, appealed to the regional governor, prosecutor, and head of the police department.

Alimanov stated that approximately 14-15 teenagers from both sides participated in the brawl, but only one person had been detained. He urged authorities to legally assess the actions of all participants and conduct a thorough investigation into the case.

Ongoing Investigation and Special Task Force

By March 26th, the police department confirmed that the case was being investigated under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning "Murder" and "Hooliganism committed by a group." Currently, three suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility.

Authorities are actively identifying witnesses and other individuals involved in the incident. A special investigative task force, comprising experienced investigators and operational officers, has been established to ensure a comprehensive probe. The case has been transferred to the regional police department, and its progress is under the close supervision of the leadership.

The death of the teenager in Shalkar has raised significant public concern. Law enforcement agencies have assured that all those found responsible will be held accountable under the law.
