Elon Musk Claims George Soros' Network Influenced Hungary's New Government

Tech mogul and billionaire Elon Musk has pointed fingers at the organizations funded by American financier George Soros, alleging their influence behind the new government in Hungary.

This statement comes after Soros' son commented on the recent parliamentary elections in Hungary. He noted that the opposition 'Tisza' party was leading, securing 138 out of 199 seats after 98.79% of the votes were counted. The son declared that the Hungarian people had "taken back their country."

Responding to this, Musk posted on social media, "Soros' organization has seized power in Hungary."

Who is George Soros?

George Soros is an American investor and philanthropist of Hungarian origin, known for founding the Open Society Foundations. He is a highly polarizing figure in the media. While some view him as a philanthropist supporting democracy and education, others perceive him as an influential speculator and a "shadowy figure" linked to funding numerous "color revolutions" and global governance initiatives. Soros' foundations have frequently faced accusations of orchestrating political transitions in various countries.

Media outlets often associate Soros with the U.S. Democratic Party. Former U.S. President Donald Trump has also claimed that Soros and other left-wing radicals were behind protest movements in the United States.

Hungary's Election Results

Hungary held its parliamentary elections on Sunday, April 12. The results determined the country's next prime minister. After over 90% of the votes were tallied, Peter Magyar, the leader of the pro-European opposition 'Tisza' party, emerged as the clear winner. His party is poised to hold a constitutional majority in parliament, enabling them to pass legislation without the support of other factions.

Former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who had been in power for 16 years, acknowledged the "clear and heavy" outcome for his party. Magyar has called for the immediate resignation of Orbán's government.

This development marks a significant shift in Hungarian politics, with potential implications for the country's future direction and its relationship with the European Union.
