Preparations for these events will begin on May 10th, with military aviation training flights commencing over Astana. These exercises are a part of the broader air defense force's scheduled activities.

Demonstration Flights Scheduled

The main event, a demonstration flight by fighter jets, is set to occur on May 15th. The Ministry of Defense assures the public that these flights will be conducted at a safe altitude and are not expected to disrupt the normal rhythm of city life.

Public Advisory on Noise

Residents may experience a temporary increase in noise levels during the training and demonstration flights. The ministry requests understanding and patience regarding this potential disturbance.

Safety Assurances

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that all flights are organized in strict accordance with safety regulations and pose no threat to the public. The use of colored smoke during the demonstrations is purely for visual effect and is designed to be environmentally harmless.

Context of Recent Incidents

This announcement comes after a previous incident where a Su-30SM fighter jet crashed during a planned training flight in the Karaganda region on February 25th. In that case, the official report indicated that the aircraft's crew successfully ejected using the ejection system. A special commission from the Ministry of Defense was established to investigate the causes and circumstances of that accident.
