Detention and Charges

Almyshev was reportedly taken from his barbershop to a police station on the evening of February 20th. He managed to inform his wife about his situation, stating he was going to the police. Earlier, he had shared a video showing police officers at his home.

Information emerged today confirming his 15-day administrative arrest. According to Otkir Kurek, he was penalized under the article for "petty hooliganism." However, the specific actions leading to this charge have not been disclosed.

Speculation and Criticism

Almyshev's wife had previously speculated that his detention might be related to alleged insults directed at comedian Nurlan Saburov. This theory, however, has not been confirmed by officials.

Prior to his arrest, Kantemir Almyshev had posted several critical remarks about the amendments to the new constitution on the social media platform Threads.
