Student's Death Sparks Controversy: Family Suspects Husband in Aktau Case
A tragic death in Aktau has ignited a dispute, with the family of a 24-year-old student challenging the official ruling of suicide. Police have closed the case, but the deceased's parents are convinced her husband is the prime suspect.
A Promising Future Cut Short
Marzhan, a student at a medical college, was found deceased in her apartment. She was reportedly pursuing a career in dentistry and had numerous aspirations, including completing her studies, advancing her skills through further courses, and obtaining a driver's license.
Family Disputes and Financial Strain
According to reports, Marzhan's family claims that marital discord became frequent after her marriage last year. Her mother alleges that her mother-in-law pressured Marzhan to move to the village and focus solely on domestic duties, while her husband allegedly provided no financial support.
Doubts Over Investigation's Objectivity
The circumstances leading up to Marzhan's death have raised questions. Just a day before she was found, on December 31st, she had met with her mother, sharing her future plans. The family asserts that Marzhan showed no signs of distress and that her suicide is out of character for her determined and ambitious personality.
Initially, the case was investigated under the article of "incitement to suicide." However, the investigation was later terminated. Relatives argue that the inquiry was neither thorough nor impartial. They point to a lack of comprehensive examination of Marzhan's psycho-emotional state, delayed investigative actions, and unexplored leads.
Family Demands Re-investigation
Marzhan's loved ones are adamant that she was a vibrant individual with clear goals and a strong will to live, making suicide an unlikely scenario. The family is now urgently calling for the case to be reopened and a comprehensive investigation to be conducted.
