"Yussup Akshora was one of the individuals truly deserving of receiving an award from the President on Cultural and Arts Worker's Day. Seeing these 'newcomers' who have only recently stepped into the arts, I can't help but wonder how elders who have captured the public's hearts for half a century have been left aside. He is a living legend within the walls of Akorda, truly worthy of an award," the author wrote.

Yussup Akshora's Artistic Journey

Yussup Akshora, born in 1960 in the village of Kyzyltang, Turkestan region, is widely known as one of the founders of the "Shanshar" satirical theater. A recipient of the title "Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan," he began his artistic career at the Zhetisai Kazakh Musical Drama Theater. He later held various positions at a children's and youth club in the village of Shauildyr. In 1994, he co-founded the theater with Ualibek Abdyraymov, where he continues to perform today as a lead actor, masterfully portraying a variety of satirical characters.
