Kazakhstan's seismologists have registered an earthquake originating in the neighboring country of Kyrgyzstan, according to data from the seismic station network.

The tremor occurred on April 2nd at 04:28 AM Astana time, with a magnitude reaching 4.9, as reported by Kazakh seismologists.

Epicenter and Intensity Details

The epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 3 kilometers from the city of Uzgen, 5 kilometers from the village of Kurshab, 30 kilometers from Kara-Suu, and 45 kilometers from the city of Osh, according to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan.
