The legislation emphasizes the unique standing of former presidents, stating that their person, honor, and dignity are inviolable. Any attempts to exert pressure on them will be prosecuted by law. Furthermore, former presidents are guaranteed state protection, ensuring their safety and security.

Continued Civic Engagement

Former presidents will retain certain rights to participate in the country's civic life. This includes the right to vote and to attend significant state events. They will be able to participate in Constituent Assembly meetings, attend the official inaugurations of new presidents, and will have the opportunity to be present at all official celebratory functions.
