New details have emerged regarding the personal life of Arman Zhumageldiev, widely known by his moniker 'Wild Arman'. Zhumageldiev was sentenced to 20 years in prison in connection with the January events that shook Kazakhstan.

His wife, Kyrgyz fashion designer Aikol Alikzhanova, has announced their separation. According to reports from Kaktus.media, Alikzhanova shared the news on her social media, stating that she and Zhumageldiev, with whom she has a young daughter, have officially parted ways. She indicated that Zhumageldiev initiated the divorce and emphasized that there were no conflicts or disagreements between them leading to the decision.

Aikol Alikzhanova is a recognized figure in the fashion industry. She previously won the 'Miss Kyrgyzstan - 2014' and 'Miss Internet KG - 2012' titles, showcasing her early prominence before establishing her career as a designer.
Sentencing in January Events Case
Arman Zhumageldiev was among several individuals prosecuted in the aftermath of the January unrest. The investigation implicated former parliament member Kairat Kudaibergen and National Security Committee Colonel Ruslan Yskakov. The court handed down sentences: Zhumageldiev received 20 years, Kudaibergen 8 years, and Yskakov 15 years and 6 months imprisonment. Evidence presented during the trial suggested the defendants were involved in the unlawful detention of a group of individuals and other illegal activities.
Allegations of Kidnapping and Arms Distribution
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Zhumageldiev was accused of kidnapping 24 people and illegally holding them at the parking lots of the Ritz Carlton and Kazakhstan hotels in Almaty. Furthermore, it was alleged that on January 6th, he distributed weapons to his supporters who arrived at the Kazakhstan hotel.
