Authorities in Almaty have successfully dismantled a criminal group involved in the online sale of narcotics, apprehending 11 individuals. The operation targeted an internet-based drug store that was distributing illicit substances across the city and surrounding regions.

Criminal Network Uncovered

The arrested individuals represent various roles within the organization, including the masterminds, operators who coordinated sales, and those responsible for managing the group's finances. This comprehensive bust highlights the structured nature of the criminal enterprise.

Significant Drug Seizure

During the operation, law enforcement seized approximately 3 kilograms of synthetic drugs. In addition to the narcotics, investigators also confiscated communication devices, bank cards, and digital storage devices believed to have been used to facilitate the criminal activities.

Investigation Underway

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the matter. This recent success follows a similar operation in the Mangystau region, where a four-person drug trafficking group was apprehended earlier.
