Residents of the Atyrau region are being called upon to participate in the international environmental campaign known as "Earth Hour." This initiative aims to draw attention to the critical issue of climate change and underscore the importance of conserving energy and natural resources.

The regional Ecology Department has issued an invitation for widespread participation in the global event. The campaign is scheduled to take place on March 28, 2026, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

What is Earth Hour?

How to Participate

During the designated hour, participants are encouraged to switch off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances. This includes homes, offices, government buildings, and even cultural institutions like museums and theaters. By collectively dimming the lights for sixty minutes, participants visually demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection.
