Elite Parking Spot Sold in Astana, Apartments Ignored
In a curious turn of events in Kazakhstan's capital, an elite parking spot in a prestigious residential complex has been successfully sold via an electronic auction. However, the same development saw a complete lack of interest in its available apartments.
Parking Space Finds a Buyer
The online auction platform 'Sauda.e-qazyna.kz' listed several parking spaces and apartments from various residential complexes in Astana. Among them, parking spot number 1 in the 'Parisian Quarter' residential complex was the most accessible. This 18.8 square meter space was put up for auction with a starting price of 5.3 million tenge and was ultimately sold.
Apartments Remain Unsold
Despite the successful sale of the parking spot, the apartments within the 'Parisian Quarter' and other reputable buildings like 'Green Village' received no bids whatsoever. By the close of the auction period, no offers were submitted for these residential units, leading to the auctions being declared void.
