Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that Israel launched attacks targeting crucial infrastructure within the country. This development comes at a time when diplomatic efforts, particularly those involving the U.S. President, are underway, and Araghchi suggested the strikes could undermine these initiatives.

Targeted Facilities

According to Araghchi, the alleged attacks were directed at significant Iranian assets. These included two major steel plants, a power station, civilian nuclear facilities, and other vital infrastructure. The Foreign Minister issued a stern warning, asserting that Israel would face severe repercussions for these actions.

Israeli Confirmation and Incident Details

The Israeli side has confirmed that a strike was carried out against a primary facility for the production of naval missiles and mines located in the city of Yazd. Further reports indicate that explosions were heard in several areas of Tehran and Isfahan early on Friday morning, following aerial assaults.
