Details of the Disappearance

The 26-year-old Asem was last seen on March 6 in Ho Chi Minh City. Her family reported that she was scheduled to fly to Hanoi that same day for a meeting with a consul. However, contact was lost approximately 20 kilometers from the airport. At the time of her disappearance, Asem had expressed feeling frightened and believed she was being followed.

Official Response

Following the report of her disappearance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan confirmed it was in contact with Asem's relatives and the relevant authorities in Vietnam.
