Kazakh actor Olzhas Adai has openly addressed questions surrounding his relationship with fellow artist Dariga Badykova, acknowledging her profound impact on his life and describing her as a gift from above.

A Decade of Stagnation and a Timely Arrival

Adai revealed that his career experienced a ten-year hiatus, during which he felt lost and disconnected from his identity as an artist. It was during this period of stagnation that Badykova entered his life. He expressed deep gratitude for her presence, stating, "It felt like God sent Dariga to me. I don't always say it, but I am grateful to her internally."

Complementary Personalities and Shared Ambitions

The actor highlighted the similarities in their personalities, noting that both are passionate and possess leadership qualities. "We are both passionate, we are both leaders. Sometimes we argue twenty times before lunch, sometimes we don't speak all day. But our shared passion for creativity unites us," Adai explained. He added that over the past two years, they have grown closer, better understanding each other and clarifying their life goals.

Shared Vacations and Private Life Boundaries

While Adai remained discreet about specific details of their personal lives, he did not deny that they had vacationed together. When asked by a journalist about a trip to the Maldives, Adai confirmed with a smile that they had indeed shared the vacation. "Yes, of course, we vacationed together. We have been working together for almost four years, and together for the last two years," he stated.

However, when questioned about their marital status, Adai deflected, saying, "Let's stop here regarding personal life. Whoever saw it – let them think for themselves." He explained that they had made a conscious decision to keep their relationship private. "Whether there is a relationship or not – we agreed not to make it public. If we reveal everything openly, people's curiosity will fade," the actor concluded.
