Renowned journalist Dinara Satzhan has weighed in on the public dispute between Bayan Alaguzova and former members of the popular Kazakhstani group "KeshYou," Moldir Auelbekova and Balzhan Bidash.

Disrespect Towards Bayan Alaguzova

Satzhan believes the actions of Auelbekova and Bidash demonstrate a lack of respect for Alaguzova, who was instrumental in their rise to fame. This year marks the 20th anniversary of "KeshYou," a group Satzhan likens to a disciplined army. She noted that while Alaguzova could be demanding, strong mentors often push individuals to unlock their full potential.

The Path to Stardom

The journalist highlighted that dozens of young women have achieved stardom after passing through the "KeshYou" project over the past two decades. Satzhan questioned the former members' reluctance to express gratitude, stating, "Who were Moldir Auelbekova and Balzhan Bidash back then? Just ordinary girls with dreams and ambitions. Today, they are famous, successful women who have found their place. Why is it so difficult for them to say thank you? This isn't weakness." Satzhan suggested that even a minor perceived slight, such as not being called "beautiful" in a documentary, seemed to be a primary source of their resentment.

Acknowledging Contributions

Satzhan acknowledged that using others as a stepping stone is common in show business. However, she found it disingenuous for individuals like Alaguzova and Bagdai to act as if they weren't such a crucial launchpad. "No one is asking them to worship her. But acknowledging her contribution to their careers and participating in the anniversary concert is a sign of respect," Satzhan argued. She pointed out that Bayan Alaguzova and Bagim Mukhitdenova are Honored Figures of Culture of Kazakhstan, a title earned through years of dedicated work, recognized by the state and the nation. Satzhan concluded by questioning the standing of Moldir and Balzhan to dismiss the efforts of the very people who helped them build their own names.
