Residents and travelers can now look forward to a new direct passenger train service connecting the cities of Zhezkazgan and Aktau. This significant development, set to launch on April 1, promises to enhance connectivity between these two important regions of Kazakhstan.

Expanded Service for Travelers

Previously, a train route operated between Karaganda and Zhezkazgan. This service has now been extended to reach the "Mangystau" station, located just 13 kilometers from Aktau. This means passengers can travel directly from Zhezkazgan to the Mangystau region without the need for multiple transfers.

Journey Details and Schedule

The new direct train journey is expected to take approximately 29 hours. The service will operate twice a week, offering regular travel options for passengers. Tickets for this new route are already available for purchase, making travel planning easier for those looking to utilize this new service.
