Kazakhstan Braces for Sudden Cold Snap and Snowfall
Residents across Kazakhstan are advised to prepare for a significant shift in weather as spring conditions give way to a sudden cold snap. Meteorologists from Kazhydromet have issued a forecast for April 7-9, indicating a return to winter-like conditions in many areas.
Widespread Precipitation Expected
The majority of the country will experience rainfall. However, the northern and northwestern regions can expect a mix of rain and snow. Meanwhile, western and southern parts of Kazakhstan may see heavy downpours at times. The northern areas are particularly likely to face intense precipitation.
Strong Winds and Potential Storms
Gusty winds are anticipated nationwide, with the potential for storms to develop. Residents in western and southern regions should be aware of the risk of hail and strong winds. In contrast, the eastern part of the country is expected to remain dry. Fog may also form during the nighttime and early morning hours.
Temperature Drop Forecast
A notable decrease in temperatures is predicted, especially in the northern and northwestern regions. Daytime temperatures in these areas are expected to fall to between 3 and 15 degrees Celsius.
