A disturbing trend has emerged on the Telegram messaging app, with advertisements offering illegal and violent services for payment. These ads promise to resolve disputes through extreme and unlawful means, prompting a strong response from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Dangerous Offers Surface Online

Unidentified individuals are circulating messages on Telegram, presenting themselves as problem solvers for situations where conventional methods have failed. They claim to offer discreet and personalized solutions to clients' issues.

The range of alleged 'services' is alarming, including threats via phone calls, physical assault, arson of apartments and vehicles, and even abduction followed by violence outside the city. Some advertisers even offer to record these acts for an additional fee.

Ministry of Internal Affairs Responds

In response to screenshots of these advertisements, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that law enforcement agencies are actively monitoring the internet and taking necessary actions. They stated that their departments monitor online spaces to identify and block advertisements for illegal and socially dangerous services.

"Within their competence, internal affairs bodies monitor the internet, identify advertisements offering illegal and socially dangerous services, and initiate their blocking. In specific cases, collected materials and information are transferred to the relevant departments of internal affairs bodies for legal assessment and procedural decision-making in accordance with the established procedure," the Ministry explained.

The Ministry emphasized its ongoing systematic work against cybercrime and urged citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.
