According to Eldar Murtazin, lead analyst at Mobile Research Group, social media apps, particularly Telegram, consume excessive battery power due to their high data transfer volumes. He also pointed out that third-party browsers, such as Google Chrome, are significant energy consumers.

"Any unofficial browser, like Google Chrome, as well as photo and video recording functions, consume a lot of energy," Murtazin explained.

Browser Tabs Impact Battery Life

The number of open tabs in your browser can also contribute to a faster battery drain. Murtazin noted that this effect is particularly pronounced with third-party browsers, where a large number of open pages leads to increased energy consumption.
