Kazakhstan's Under-19 national football team has achieved a significant victory, defeating Serbia 3-1 in a crucial Euro 2027 qualifying match. This win has propelled the young "Aidyn's" (Brave Ones) to the top of their group standings, surpassing Serbia.

Match Highlights

The match saw the Serbian team score the opening goal in the 9th minute. However, Kazakhstan's resilience shone through. In the 25th minute, Töre Ismuhambetov, a midfielder from Kairat, equalized the score.

The second half proved decisive for the Kazakh team. Winger Islambek Bolat, also from Kairat, scored a brace in the 47th and 51st minutes, giving Kazakhstan a commanding lead. The Kazakh players maintained control of the game for the remainder of the match, denying Serbia any further opportunities. The final score stood at 3-1 in favor of Kazakhstan.

This impressive victory has moved the Kazakhstan U-19 team to the top of their qualifying group with 4 points. Serbia currently sits in second place with 3 points, followed by Portugal with 1 point. Greece has yet to secure any points in the group.

The top three teams from each qualifying group will advance to the next stage of the tournament. Earlier in the qualifiers, the Kazakhstan U-19 team had played to a draw against Portugal.
