The popular summer terrace of the "Myata" lounge bar in Almaty has been dismantled following a court decision, according to the city's construction control department.

Unauthorized Construction Found

An unscheduled inspection revealed that the "Myata" bar's summer recreational area lacked the necessary permits. This discovery led to the owner facing administrative penalties and subsequent legal proceedings.

Court Upholds Demolition Order

On February 11th, the Almaty City Court upheld the decision to remove the structure. After a prolonged legal process, the bar's owner eventually complied with the court's ruling and voluntarily dismantled the terrace.

Broader Enforcement Efforts

This action is part of a wider effort by Almaty authorities to address illegal construction. Previously, an unauthorized extension of a cafe in the city was also removed.
