“I Want to Live” Project Publishes List of 270 Kazakhstanis Killed in the War in Ukraine
The Ukrainian project “I Want to Live” has released a list of 270 citizens of Kazakhstan who, according to the authors, were killed or went missing while fighting in Ukraine as part of the Russian armed forces, infohub.kz reports.
The List May Be Incomplete
Representatives of the project stated that the published list is not final, and the real number of dead or missing Kazakhstanis could be significantly higher.
“The youngest is Andrey Bogomolov, born in 2005. He died at the age of 19. The oldest is 64-year-old Alexander Yalfimov, a member of the 254th Motorized Rifle Regiment,” the statement says.
No Reaction Yet From Kazakh Authorities
Radio Azattyq has not yet been able to verify the names on the list or confirm the accuracy of the information. However, earlier data related to Kazakhstan published by the project turned out to be accurate.
Kazakh government bodies have not yet commented on the list.
