Aktobe residents are being advised to prepare for a potential decline in air quality as unfavorable meteorological conditions are expected. The national weather service, Kazhydromet, has issued a warning for Monday, May 11th, indicating that pollutants may accumulate in the atmosphere.

Kazhydromet explains that 'unfavorable meteorological conditions' refer to a combination of weather factors that can lead to increased air pollution. These include periods of calm or light winds, fog, and temperature inversions, all of which can trap harmful substances near the ground.

Weather Forecast for Aktobe

On May 11th, Aktobe is expected to experience clear skies with no precipitation. Winds will be light, blowing from the northeast and east at speeds of 2-7 meters per second. Temperatures are predicted to range from a cool +2 to +4 degrees Celsius overnight, rising to a pleasant +16 to +18 degrees Celsius during the day.

This forecast follows previous reports of potential nighttime frosts of up to 2 degrees Celsius in the northern parts of the Aktobe region, while a high fire risk remains in the southern areas.
